Next Prayer Week 22nd-27th Nov

The prayer week last month went really well and I know many of you were once again encouraged and inspired in the place of prayer. We would love to hear your stories about your experiences in the prayer room, and/or what has happened or is happening in your life as a result of the prayers that were prayed. These stories don't have to be dramatic, but we just want to encourage a culture of story telling that builds faith and reminds us that Jesus is alive and is at work in Guildford and in the Nations of the world.

No story is insignificant!

In the meantime, spread the word amongst your church community, friends, neighbours etc. Let's continue to remember that these prayer weeks are as much a 'Welcome Mat' to the people around us into God's presence as they are a secret place for us to be with our father. These prayer rooms are not for us to own, but to share and give away. They are a blessing to be a blessing.

Perhaps over the next few weeks ask God who you should invite to the next prayer week? Is there someone you know who is in great need? Is there a friend who won't go to a church service, but may be willing to join you in the prayer room? Is this something that you feel would benefit your church youth group who at the moment seem disengaged from everything? Is this a space you can bring your family to as it's too hard to pray together at home? Just ask the question and be willing to obey when He speaks. He may surprise you!

God has so much more for us if we keep pressing into Him and drawing near. Let's continue to ask, seek and knock, in the knowledge that the Father gives good gifts to His children.
